The Accommodation
The Residence 'Le Chalet des Neiges' enjoys an ideal location: right above the resort ( perfect for children to toboggan outside & for non-skiers to watch the 'world go by' ); it is also perfect for ski enthusiasts, as it is just at the foot of the piste above the cable car giving access to the whole ski domain. It offers magnificent views towards the Belledonne Mountains.
The chalet is newly built. It comprises fully equipped apartments of a high standard ranging from one bedroom alcove apartments to spacious six bedroom apartments sleeping up to 14 people, all with disabled lift access.
The main apartment ( 62m2 ) is on the fourth floor and is equipped with cable TV, DVD, dishwasher, microwave, bedding & towels. It has three bedrooms, sleeping up to eight people very comfortably, & benefits from a lounge diner with wood panelling, wood & tile floors (with under-floor heating ). The lounge leads out to a balcony which enjoys fantastic panoramic views of the mountains & piste below.
Next door is a sister chalet containing a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna & fitness suite, available to guests at no extra cost. There is also a bar & restaurant.
The main entrance opens into a hallway off which is a bathroom & two twin bedrooms, this leads on to a second bathroom, a double bedroom with separate toilet opposite. Beyond is the excellently equipped kitchen diner & lounge. The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, hob, extractor fan, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine and vacuum cleaner. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery, saucepans and utensils. Tea- towels are not supplied.
In the lounge there is ample comfortable seating (which includes a twin sofa-bed ) there is cable TV, DVD player, a CD player .The dining table seats up to ten people comfortably. There are board & card games suitable for adults and children available to use.
From the lounge area, doors lead out onto the balcony where there is outdoor furniture, so you can enjoy sitting outside in the sun. Please note that smoking is restricted to the balcony area only.
There is a ski locker on the ground floor for storing skis, boots & sledges. We request that skis and ski boots are not to be taken into the living areas.
